A Few Tid-BitsWell, we have quite e few things going on in our life right now. I stay so busy it is hard for me to even see straight sometimes. We have had some very interesting things happen in the past few weeks so I am going to share a few things with you all.
Okay, lemme think, oh, we finally got our T1 line installed at the office. They have put off the installation twice now and Rick was getting a little concerned considering he already has 1 definite web site customer lined up. Well, the day before yesterday it was installed and Rick is ecstatic. I do not really know what the big deal is. He told me the upload speed was higher so I have been testing it with my Shutterbook Uploader. I suppose it does go a little faster. I am really excited about one thing... we have a contract with Charter and since we have a T1 here we obviously do not need cable internet anymore, so...... we are dropping the internet and getting cable TV. It will be a nice way to pass some time if we have a slow day every now and then.
Now I am really excited about this next thing. Rick and I are planning a trip to New England in the next few weeks. Rick landed a contract with a waste equipment company. They have 6 offices. Four of them are in NC and SC, but 1 is in Arizona, and the other is in Connecticut. The one in CT is about to open and Rick needs to get them set up and wired and make sure all the technical stuff is functioning properly. He will not have to go to CT every time they need something because he is a member of a national IT service with techs all over the US, but he wants to make the initial visit so he will make sure it is done right since this is the first job he has had with this company. Also he wants to familiarize himself with the office so he can better describe work orders to future techs sent out there. We are most likely going to rent a car and drive there. It will give us a chance to see some beautiful places we have never seen before. Also, while we are there we are going to make a trip to Manhattan. It is only about one hour from the town in CT which we will be going to. I am so excited. I have always wanted to go to NY, NY!
Okay, I am almost done. Business has really picked up since the holidays are over. I guess everyone is done buying for others and now they are taking care of their needs. This is a good thing but we are starting to feel a but bogged down. We are just praising God for the masss flow of customers he has brought us and will continue to bring us!
